Jenny Risher is a graduate of The College For Creative Studies in Detroit. Her continual strive for perfection, fresh style, and natural sensibility has afforded her the opportunity to photograph for many illustrious clients. Her photographs have been published in numerous national advertising and editorial publications.

Risher completed her first book, Heart Soul Detroit, where she interviewed and photographed 50 iconic Detroiters, including Iggy Pop, Smokey Robinson, Jack White, Dr. Jack Kevorkian, Lily Tomlin, Eminem, and Tim Allen. Risher will be signing copies of Heart Soul Detroit for guests at Savor Detroit, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Gleaners.

Risher will also exhibit a pop-up gallery of her car and dog series created exclusively for Savor Detroit, inspired by her sons Alex and Oliver’s favorite book, P.D. Eastman’s Go Dog Go. Risher’s photographs will be available for silent auction with a portion of the proceeds also benefiting Gleaners.
